Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
It was another beautiful day here on the island. The skies were partly cloudy with light winds from the north. The temperatures were around 80 throughout the day.
From the beach today the fishing was great. In Avon there was spot, croaker, bluefish and sea-mullet caught. Here in Frisco there was flounder, pompano, sea mullet and puppy drum biting. In Hatteras there was pompano, sea mullet, bluefish and flounder caught.
Inshore today it was another good drum fishing day with some bigger reds and some keepers mixed in. The spanish mackerel and bluefish are still biting good around the inlet.
Angie Ballance went fishing in the sound this after noon and got this nice red drum. Pretty work Angie!
Offshore today it was a good billfish day with blue marlin and sailfish being released. The dolphin and wahoo are still biting good with a scattered blackfin tuna being caught.
