Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
Today was mostly sunny. The winds were from the east at 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in the low 80’s.
Up on the Avon beaches croakers, spot, spanish mackerel and bluefish were reported. Down on the Buxton beaches only some flounder were caught. Around the Frisco beach some pompano, sea mullet and flounder were caught. Down on the Hatteras beaches bluefish, sea mullet, croaker and some puppy drum were reported.
The inshore boats caught spanish mackerel and bluefish.
The offshore fleet had good catches of bailer dolphin and wahoo with a few blackfin tuna caught. One sailfish was released.
