Here is your Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island:
A front came through yesterday with some much-needed rain and cooler temps in the low 80’s. The wind blew from the northeast at 10-15 mph, which cleaned the water up an improved the fishing. The south beach had nice pompano, bluefish, and small flounder. There were some reports of nice sea mullet on the north beach and in Avon.
The inshore boats had gray trout, specks, and spanish.
Offshore dolphin fishing was good, king mackerel were scattered along with scattered blackfin. Two whites and two sails were released out of Hatteras Harbor Marina.
