Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
Today we had sunny skies and light winds. The winds were from the south-east at 5-15 mph and the temperatures were in the mid 80’s.
Up on the Avon beach puppy drum, spanish mackerel and bluefish were reported. Around the Buxton beaches puppy drum and bluefish were reported. Over on the Frisco beach bluefish were reported. The Hatteras beaches had a few puppy drum reported.
The inshore boats had catches speckled trout in Pamlico Sound today..
The offshore boats had excellent wahoo fishing. A few dolphin, black fin tuna and a few yellowfin tuna were caught. Trigger fish were caught from the bottom. A sailfish and a blue marlin were released.
