Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island:
The Weather in Frisco was pretty windy with partly cloudy skies. We had north winds 10-20 mph with gusts to 33 mph and the temperatures were in the mid 70’s. The only report of any fish from the beaches today were from one guy who caught some sea mullet and pompano on the beach near the Frisco Pier using bloodworms. The inshore boats had real good spanish mackerel fishing and one 47 lb cobia was caught. No charter boats fished today but 72 boats fished The Big Rock Tournament day 4. Not much action to report except the 8-10 ft swells and high winds. There were three white marlin and one blue marlin released. Below is another good shot of “Sea Creature” with there blue marlin release on Wednesday and the leader board for The Big Rock after 4 days of fishing. Only two days left to fish. Good Luck to all the boats and stay safe.

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island:
The Weather in Frisco was partly sunny. We had north winds 10-15 mph and the temperatures were in the low 80’s. With this cool front pushing through and the north winds the ocean has become a little on the rough side. Fishing was slower today. Up on the Avon beach there were a few croaker and bluefish caught. The Frisco beach was slow too. A couple of pompano and bluefish, that’s about it. The inshore boats caught lots of spanish mackerel and bluefish. Some nice speckled trout and a few gray trout were caught. One customer said they caught a bunch of flounder inside Hatteras Inlet with 19 of them keeper size. The offshore bottom fish was real good today. Some nice triggerfish, sea bass, vermilion snappers and grouper were all caught. The dolphin fishing was slow for most, some boats caught as many as 40. A few wahoo and blackfin tuna were caught. The “Release” had two white marlin releases and the “Sea Creature” with one blue marlin release. They are both fishing The Big Rock Tournament. Today at The Big Rock Tournament was a lot like yesterday with competitors releasing 10 blue marlins, 11 white marlins, a hatchet marlin and a sailfish. Only three more days to fish with no blue marlin weighing over 500 lbs brought to the dock which means there is still a lot of money to be won. Below is the “Sea Creature” with their blue marlin release today in The Big Rock. Pretty work guys!!!

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island:
The Weather in Frisco was partly sunny with a few rain showers. The winds were from the south south-west at 10-15 mph and the temperatures were in the lower 80’s. Fishing was slow today with only some bluefish on the Buxton beaches and some spanish mackerel down on the Hatteras beach. The spanish mackerel fishing inshore was excellent today. A few bluefish were also caught. The offshore bite for the charter boats were slow, so slow some guys came in early to catch all the spanish mackerel for some action. A few dolphin and couple of really nice wahoo’s were caught by some boats. The biggest wahoo was 69 lbs. Some guys did some botttom fishing in the deep and caught some grouper and tilefish, both are really good to eat. The second day of The Big Rock Tournament was filled with billfish action but not as busy as yesterday. The fleet released 9 blue marlins, 8 white marlins, one sailfish and one hatchet marlin today. The “Inspiration” brought to the dock a 437.7 lb blue marlin to take second place in The Big Rock Tournament.

Today the weather in Frisco was great again. We had south-west winds 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in the mid 80’s. The Avon Pier had some good spanish mackerel and bluefish caught. The Buxton beach was a little slower with only a few bluefish and flounder. Over ramp 49 in Frisco and ramp 55 in Hatteras there are still some nice spanish mackerel and bluefish being caught with a few pompano and sea mullet mixed in. The inshore boats had some excellent spanish mackerel and bluefish today. A few gray and speckled trout were also reported.
