Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island:

The Weather in Frisco was rainy all morning and clearing with sunny skies the rest of the day.  We had south-west winds 10-20 mph and the temperatures were in the low 80’s.  Out at Cape Point the spanish mackerel and bluefish were biting.  The sea mullet and spot were reported on the Frisco beach.  Some spanish mackerel and bluefish were caught down around Hatteras Inlet.  The inshore boats had a good day of speckled trout and flounder fishing in the Pamlico Sound.  Only a few boats fished offshore today.  They caught plenty of dolphin and a few wahoo.  The billfishing was real good today.  Five white marlin, two blue marlin and a few sailfish were released.
