• Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Temps today didn’t start out as low as yesterday, it was a sunny but windy day. The high was 70 while the low was 64. We’ve had moderate to strong winds from the WSW. Currently it’s 64, feels like 61, with WSW winds at 14mph. Gusts are up to 20mph. Unlike today, tomorrow’s temps are going to be on a steady decline. In the morning we’ll see temps in the mid- to high-60s and in the afternoon and evening we’ll see temps lower to the 50s. Winds are predicted to start out of the WSW again but will make a switch to the N/NNE around midday.

    Surf: Sharks

    Offshore: Yesterday one boat went out of Hatteras Inlet and came back with Blackfin Tuna and Bluefin Tuna.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    This morning started off a little chilly but quickly warmed up as the day went on. The high was 72 while the low was 48. We’ve had light to moderate winds from the SE before switching to the SW/SSW. Currently it’s 66, feels like 64, with SSW winds at 15mph. Similar to today, tomorrow’s temps are going to start off lower and rise around midday before cooling back off again (H: 72, L: 60). However, winds will be increased up to ~22mph.
