    Another day with a high below 80. Winds have been light to moderate and mainly NE. It felt a little like fall earlier this morning with the nice breeze. Currently it’s 70, feels like 69, with NE winds around 8mph. Tomorrow is predicted to be fairy similar to today.

    Water temp was between 75 and 76.6 today.

    Surf: Bluefish, Croaker, Pompano, Red Drum, Sea Mullet, Speckled Trout, Spot

    Today’s high was 81. Winds have been light to gentle and mainly NE/NNE. Currently it’s 73, feels like 75, with NE winds around 8mph. Gusts up to 18mph. Tomorrow’s high is predicted to be 78 while winds are predicted to be moderate. Looks like the next few days will have highs hovering around 78-80.

    Water temp was between 77 and 79 today.

    High today was 79, a bit cooler than yesterday. Wind has been light and out of the NE. Currently it’s 73, feels like 77, with NE winds around 5mph. Tomorrow’s temps and winds are looking pretty similar to today’s.

    The Frisco Rod and Gun family has had Chesapeake Bay Retrievers as their family and shop dogs for over 40 years now. Chesapeake Bay Retrievers have been a breed that has proven their worth in the waters around Cape Hatteras, often mascots of the United States Lifesaving Station crews and historically hardy duck hunting partners.     We would like to introduce our newest generation of Chesapeakes to you on our new design. Taffy with her deadgrass color coat is on the top and litter mates Sadie and Captain are side by side underneath with their dark brown coats. Born and bred in Eastern North Carolina, these three can be found enjoying their Hatteras Island lifestyle of duck hunting, playing on the beach, or going for boat rides in the Pamlico Sound. You may even catch them here hard at work in the store!

    Our three dogs join other icons of Hatteras Island on this print. The high for tomorrow is predicted to be 81 so fingers crossed on that. Scattered thunderstorms are likely tonight and tomorrow.

    Today’s high was 84. Winds have been light to moderate. Currently it’s 78, feels like 88, with S wind around 5mph. Tomorrow’s weather looks similar in both temps and winds. Looks like scattered storms the next day or so.

    Water temp was between 78.6 and 80.1 today.
