High of 88 again. Real feels into the upper 90s. Winds have been gentle to moderate today, a bit rough in the water at some points. Directions have flopped between WSW and SW. Currently it’s 80, feels like 86, with SW winds around 13mph. Gusts up to 18mph. Tomorrow’s temps are predicted to be slightly lower than today but winds are predicted to be higher. In the surf we heard of Pompano and Croakers. Ramp 55 seems to be the place to get the Pomps lately.

Soundside didn’t give us a report today.

Inshore boats hauled in Speckled Trout, Red Drum, Bluefish, and Sheepshead.

Offshore boats slung Dolphin, Wahoo, Blackfin Tuna, and Barracudas. There was also a release of a Sailfish.

HUK Icon X Tide Change Fade Shirt

The Huk ICON X Tide Change Camo Fade Shirt, featuring our new exclusive camo pattern, is the most technically advanced performance fishing shirt designed for hardcore anglers. This breathable material spreads moisture over a larger surface area, creating a rapid drying effect that cools the body after coming into contact with perspiration. The synthetic fibers allow air to pass through the shirt and contain a hydrophobic coating that transports sweat to drier areas, away from the skin.

The high got up to 88 with a real feel of 97. Winds have been gentle and SW/WSW/SSW. Currently it’s 80, feels like 86, with SSW winds around 9mph. Tomorrow is looking to be about the same as today but as long as the fishing is still good I’m sure everyone’s pretty okay with it. It’s been hot but sometimes the fishing is hotter.

Water temp was between 84 and 86.5 today.

A little quieter in the surf today, only heard of Pompano at Ramp 55 and Frisco Bathhouses.

In the sound Speckled Trout and Bluefish are still being caught, but not as much today as yesterday.

Inshore boats had a killer day. They were into the Red Drum, Speckled Trout, Spanish Mackerel, AND Cobia. Cobias decided to show up again after being MIA for a little while and made anglers quite happy. Additionally, the shrimping was just as good today as the clamming was the other day.

Offshore boats also had a great day on the water. They brought back Wahoo, Dolphin, and Blackfin Tuna. The kicker is the Wahoo have been hogs lately, some of them being citation sized. Releases today included a White Marlin and a Sailfish.
