    On the left is Barry Barker with his 32″ Red Drum caught off of the beach in Frisco (4/15). It was caught using 2/0 circle hook with mullet bought from FRG and a 3oz sputnik sinker. On the right is Mike Magiera with his 28″ Red Drum caught off of Ramp 55 in Hatteras using mullet. Mike also shared that he caught 7 big Bluefish this day (4/15).     Today was a lot like yesterday, sunny and breezy. The high was 75 while the low was 68 with light to moderate winds. Gusts up to 29mph. Currently it’s 70, feels like 69, with SSW winds around 13mph. Gusts around 23mph. Tomorrow’s temps will be similar while winds will slow down just a bit.

    Surf: Bluefish, Red Drum, Sea Mullet

    Inshore: More Red Drum and Sheepshead were brought in by the inshore parties.

    Today was sunny. The high was 73 while the low was 59 with light to gentle winds. Gusts up to 17mph. Currently it’s 66, feels like 65, with SE winds around 7mph. Tomorrow temps should get into the mid 70s. Winds will switch directions but remain similar speeds.

    Inshore: Lots of Sheepshead! We weighed in four citations today. Two of them were over 12lbs! Another great catch was a 30lb Blackfin Tuna caught in about 20′ of water right off the beach of Hatteras. We also heard reports of Bluefish and Red Drum.
