    Not a bad day for January. High temperature for today was 55F here in Frisco. Winds are out of the NW this evening at 6mph. Tomorrow looks like more of the same weather. Keeping an eye on the weekend storm.

    Small sharks at the point today.

    Couple of puppy Drum in Buxton, Blowtoads in Hatteras. It was quiet here in Frisco.

    Saw one offshore boats head out of Hatteras today. They brought back a nice catch of Blackfin Tuna.

    Half way through the week and it was a pretty day but here on the island. We had a high temperature of 52F. We have winds out of the West tonight at 11mph. Looks like rain moving in for the afternoon tomorrow..

    Cold winter day on the island today. Our high temperature was 39F here in Frisco. With a steady breeze it felt much cooler than that. We have winds out of the North this evening at 7mph. Temperatures will be warming up for tomorrow, highs in the 50’s.

    Sorry to say, but fishing has been slow that we know of. Does not mean they are not out there.

    Sunny and clear skies with a high temperature of 48F today. Winds are out of the North tonight at 5mph. Cooler tomorrow with temps not getting out of the 30’s. So far it looks like Thursday will be our next day for rain.

    A few Sea Mullet out of Buxton today was all we heard about.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Closing out another week here in Frisco. Not a bad day for weather. We ended up with a high temperature of 66F, Winds this evening are out of the SW around 25mph. Small front coming through tonight with strong winds and some rain. A Gale Warning is in effect from 3am Monday until 11am Monday. Watch out for some possible sound side flooding.

    Pretty weather and calm surf conditions should have produced something off of the surf today, but we did not hear of anything at the shop.

    Plenty of Yellowfin Tuna and 2 huge Bluefin Tuna caught out of Oregon Inlet today.
