• Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Hope everyone that could got out and enjoyed our beaches or the island in general today. We had a high temperature of 82F with clear skies. Currently we have winds out of the South at 14mph.

    Pretty quiet day off the surf today. Some Bluefish, puppy Drum and Pompano just north of the point.

    No report from Frisco or Hatteras.

    Good day offshore for Wahoo and Dolphin. Blackfin Tuna and a variety of bottom fish were also thrown in the mix. One Blue Marlin was released.

    Limits of Speckled Trout and Bluefish for the inshore charters. Some Red Drum as well.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Temperatures rose slightly today and our day ended at 81F. No rain in sight for the next couple of days it looks like. Winds are out of the South tonight at 15mph.

    Slow day off the surf. Conditions were still a bit rough but calming down.

    Rodanthe Pier- saw some Pompano caught

    Sharks at the point earlier today.

    Some boats headed offshore today and brought back Dolphin, a couple of Wahoo, few Blackfin Tuna and bottom fish.

    Inshore boats are still catching Speckled Trout, Bluefish and Drum.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Welcome to all of our visitors here on the island.! We are looking at a nice start to the week weather wise. Our high temperature for the day here in Frisco was75F. Winds are out of the South tonight at 9mph.

    Rough conditions made for a slow day off of the surf.

    Some Speckled Trout and puppy Drum were caught in the sound both here and in Avon.

    Offshore boats out of Hatteras had a good day with Dolphin, Wahoo, some Blackfin Tuna and various bottom fish. One Sailfish was also released.

    Inshore boats limited out on Speckled Trout and Bluefish.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    We had another beautiful day to end out the week here on the island. Our high temperature for the day was 75F. We have winds out of the NE this evening around 12mph. Looks like we have a beach hazard statement through Saturday evening for dangerous rip currents. PLEASE STAY OUT OF THE WATER

    Rodanthe Pier- Spot and Spanish Mackerel

    Honestly it was a slow day off the surf. Only heard of some Bluefish caught earlier today. Nice puppy Drum bite in the sound in Avon and Buxton however.

    Offshore boats from Hatteras had a slow go as well. Bottom fish, some Dolphin, Wahoo and a few Blackfin Tuna. One Sailfish was also released.

    Inshore boats did ok with Red Drum, Speckled Trout and a few Blues.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Clear and sunny skies today, high temperature topped off at 75F. Winds this evening are out of the East at 6mph. Looks like we are going to round out the week with more of the same weather.

    Rodanthe Pier- Spanish Mackerel, puppy Drum, Blowtoads, Black Drum, Sea Mullet and Pompano

    Nice Bluefish and Spanish run early this morning at the point. Spinner sharks were active too.

    Small Blues down towards the Frisco bath house.

    Offshore boats out of Hatteras found Dolphin, Wahoo and Blackfin Tuna, along with a variety of bottom fish.

    Inshore boats once again were catching Bluefish, Speckled Trout, Drum and Spanish Mackerel.
