• Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Not a bad day to round out our weekend. High temperature for today was right around 64F. Looks like a bit a of a warm up for tomorrow before temperatures dip back down to normal the rest of the week. Winds are out of the South this evening at 13mph.

Catch of the day was Sea Mullet. Reports came in from the point through Hatteras of decent catches of them. Some sharks were also caught.

Have not seen an offshore reports for Hatteras.

    Aftco Reaper Technical Sweatshirt

Reaper Fishing Sweatshirt with an integrated face mask and neck warmer. “Game Changer?” Too clichรฉ for our taste, but the Reaper fleece fishing hoodie is definitely making the game a lot more comfortable. In this performance fleece hoodie AFTCO delivers with technical features like laser cut ventilation on mask and underarm area, a hood with our cinch shock cord anchoring system designed specifically for both bass fishing and saltwater fisherman as they run in their boats at high speeds, Block Tapey pocket closure on the front pouch pocket, AFGUARD stain release and a toasty 100% polybonded microfleece fabric. No disrespect to our favorite cotton fishing hoodies, but this fishing sweatshirt will easily become a staple when things cool down and warmth is a necessity. The reaper is the best fishing sweatshirt available, and the fishing industry’s most popular pullover sweatshirt thanks to AFTCO’s built a in face warmer. Wear the AFTCO reaper technical fleece hoodie as-is or as a crucial layering piece to stay warm on the water.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Last day of November already and it turned out to be a decent day. We had a high temperature of 55F this afternoon. Winds are currently out of the West at 19mph. Looks like a nice day ahead for tomorrow with highs near 60F.

Mixed bag of small fish caught on all beaches today. Black Drum, Bluefish, Sea Mullet and a Trout or two. Looks like we’re starting to wind down a bit off the surf.

One boat went offshore today out of Hatteras and caught Blackfin Tuna and a few King Mackerel.

SPERRY Mens Billfish 3-eye Boat Shoe Tan Beige

Enjoying the essence of the ocean from the deck of a boat creates an entirely new experience โ€“ one you’ll want to relive again and again. A salty mist carries the scent of the sea on the air, as you hear the soothing sound of waves lapping against your boat’s hull. You watch as foam forms on distant breakers as they swell with the changing tides. If you’re lucky, maybe you catch a glimpse of dolphins surfacing. Enjoy this experience all day long in the comfort of the Billfish 3-Eye Boat Shoe from Sperry.

Sure footing on deck requires a shoe with great traction for a firm, sturdy grip. The Sperry men’s Billfish shoe comes fully equipped with Wave-Sipingโ„ข on the rubber outsole to provide stability on wet and dry surfaces. Perforated side panels allow increased breathability, while shock-absorbing enhancements create a comfortable sole for all-day wear.

Both dark and light tan tones offer a sporty vibe that is just as stylish on land as it is at sea, so you get maximum use out of your boat shoes. If you’re aching to experience the magic of life beyond our shores, don’t let any more time go to waste. Slip into the Sperry Billfish and head toward that blue horizon, where discovery awaits.

    • Rich, full-grain leather uppers in a moccasin construction with our 360ยฐ Lacing Systemโ„ข for a customized fit
    • Full-length cushioning ensures all-day comfort, while a non-marking rubber outsole features molded Wave-Sipingโ„ข for enhanced traction
