• Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    August is coming to an end with more beautiful weather today. High temperature of 88F again today. Winds are out of the SW right now at 12mph. Looks like late Wednesday/Thursday we will be picking up the remnants of the hurricane. Higher winds and rain moving in.

    Some Spanish Mackerel and bluefish at the point earlier today.

    Bluefish here in Frisco off of ramp 49.

    Offshore boats out of Hatteras brought back Dolphin, scattered Wahoo and some Grouper. Couple Blue Marlin and Sailfish were released as well.

    Inshore boats were catching Red Drum and Speckled Trout.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Nice day weather wise here on the island. Another day of 88F temps. We have winds out of the North this evening at 8mph. We will be keeping an eye on Hurricane Ida. She could bring some wet weather for the end of the week.

    Rodanthe Pier- lots of Spanish Mackerel, some False Albacore and a King Mackerel

    Avon Pier- Spanish Mackerel, False Albacore, small Cobia

    Still Spanish Mackerel and Bluefish at the point

    Bluefish here in Frisco off of ramp 49 at sunset.

    Offshore boats out of Hatteras brought back Dolphin, Blackfin Tuna and bottom fish.

    Good Times released a Blue Marlin, Release turned loose a Blue Marlin and a Sailfish.

    Inshore boats caught some Speckled Trout and limits of Bluefish and Red Drum

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Welcome to an all new week for our island visitors! We had another spectacular day here in Frisco! Our high temperature ended up at 88F this afternoon. Chance of some thunderstorms this evening. So far it’s looking like a pretty good week for weather! Winds are still out of the SW this evening at 14mph.

    Rodanthe Pier- couple small Cobia, a nice King Mackerel and a False Albacore

    Avon reported Pompano, Sea Mullet and Croaker

    Spanish Mackerel at the point early this morning along with a couple Blues and Sea Mullet

    Small Sea Mullet was all that was reported in Frisco today.

    All the offshore boats from Hatteras ventured out today. Good Dolphin fishing with some Wahoo and Blackfin Tuna.

    Inshore boats caught their limits of Speckled Trout and Bluefish.

    Happy National Dog Day.! Warm day here with temps maxing out at 88F. Winds are out of the SW again this evening at 12mph. Looks like we will end the week with more favorable weather.

    Rodanthe Pier- some Pompano, Spot and Black Sea Bass.

    Avon is reporting Croaker and Sea Mullet

    Nice Sea Mullet and Bluefish caught near ramps 43 and 44 earlier today.

    Quiet here in Frisco and Hatteras today.

    Offshore boats out of Hatteras came back with Dolphin, Wahoo, Blackfin Tuna and some bottom fish.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Half way through the week and it was a pretty day today. Our high temperature for the day in Frisco was 88F. WINDY is reporting winds out of the SW this evening at 15mph. More of the same weather for tomorrow as well.

    Surf has calmed down a bit but fishing was still slow today.

    Avon reports a mixed bag of small fish today.

    Nice Sea Mullet, Spanish Mackerel and some Bluefish earlier today near the point.

    Slow here in Frisco with nothing reported in to us today.

    Some offshore boats made it out today and reported catching Wahoo, Dolphin, limits of Tilefish, Grouper and a few Blackfin Tuna.

    A few Sailfish were also released today.

    Inshore boats were on the Red Drum and Bluefish.
