Coming to the end of another week and the weather did not disappoint. We had a sunny day with a high temperature of 82F around noon today. Cooled down a bit tonight with winds out of the NE at 14mph. Looks like more of the same weather for tomorrow as well.

Avon beaches had a mixed bag of Sea Mullet, Croaker, Pompano and a few Bluefish.

We had some nice Pompano caught here at the south end of 49 this afternoon.

Offshore boats out of Hatteras caught some decent Wahoo and scattered Dolphin.

Inshore boats again had catches of Speckled Trout and some Red Drum.

Day started off with some heavy rain but the sun came out for the afternoon and evening. Our high temperature of the day topped off at 84F. Winds right now are out of the SW at 14mph. Looks like another pretty day on tap for tomorrow with a chance of a stray shower.

Hopefully anglers will have a better day tomorrow after being washed out earlier today. It has been quiet here in the shop.

Rodanthe Pier- nice King Mackerel caught near sunset

Offshore had a scattered Dolphin bite but a good day for Wahoo. Some bottom fish were also caught.

Inshore boats are still doing really good with Speckled Trout and keeper Red Drum.

Rain on and off today with a high temperature of 78F earlier. Possibility of some showers tomorrow morning as well. Winds are out of the West this evening at 8mph.

Started out sunny and warm this morning with heavy rain moving in this afternoon. Our high temperature was 86F. More chance of rain tomorrow with slightly cooler temps. Winds are out of the SW this evening at 17mph.

Looks like all the surf action was in Buxton tonight up at ramps 43 and 44. Spanish Mackerel before the rain moved in. Pompano as well.

Puppy Drum and Speckled Trout sound side here in Frisco.

Offshore boats out of Hatteras had a good day with several Wahoo and some Blackfin Tuna as well. Couple of Sailfish were released as well.

Inshore boats found some Speckled Trout and a fair amount of Red Drum.

Summer weather arriving tonight with some winds and rain expected, otherwise we had another nice day. Our high temperature hit 86F. Right now we have winds out of the SW at 16mph. Rain is looking like it will stick around on and off for the next couple of days.

Don’t let the weather keep you held down, get out and try the surf.

Saw reports of Croaker, Spot and Sea Mullet from Rodanthe south to Avon.

Not much to report here in Frisco, surf has been rough.

Offshore boats got out and found the Dolphin along with a few Wahoo.
