Welcome to September! She is bringing in some wacky weather with her. Our high temp maxed out at 86F. We have winds right now out of the South at 29mph. Winds will be slowing down slightly tomorrow afternoon and turning out of the North for the most part. Chance of rain tomorrow at 56%.

Winds and strong surf made it quite difficult to fish on the ocean side today. Some puppy Drum were caught in the sound.

Pretty last day of August here. Our high temp topped off at 88F in Frisco this afternoon. Winds are out of the SW right now at 19mph. Looks like a chance for some thunderstorms tomorrow afternoon with some gusty winds.

It has been real quiet here today off of the surf.

Still Speckled Trout and puppy Drum being caught in the sound.

Offshore boats out of Hatteras had to work hard for their catches today. They did manage some Dolphin, Wahoo, Blackfin Tuna and various bottom fish. Native Son released a Blue Marlin and a Sailfish.

Inshore boats did good with Speckled Trout, Bluefish and keeper Red Drum.
