Big difference in weather today! Temperatures dropped quite a bit last night. We had a high of 46F with winds out of the NE at 15mph.

Still pretty quiet here off the surf. There were rumors of some Speckled Trout being caught in the sound more towards Avon. Not long now until it all picks up!

Started out with some thick fog this morning but turned out to be a decent day. The high temperature for the day was 63F. We have winds out of the West at 16mph now. Temperatures are going to drop tomorrow.

It was a quiet day for fishing reports. Nothing biting at the time of this post.

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Nice day weather wise to close out February. We had a partly cloudy day with a high temperature of 68F. Winds are out of the SW at 21mph currently. Calling for a bit of rain tomorrow.

Some activity at the point today. Small Bluefish, Dogfish and Skates were reportedly caught.

No report here in Frisco. Heard that some puppy Drum were still biting in Hatteras.

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Turned out to be a seasonably warm day with our high temperature reaching 69F. Winds are out of the SW at 16mph right now. It’s going to cool off overnight with some rain showers moving in for tomorrow morning.

We had plenty of people in the shop today buying bait, but haven’t heard any reports back as of yet.

We had another brisk day here in Frisco. Our high temperature for the day was 53F with winds out of the NE right now at 19mph. More of the same tomorrow with rain moving in later in the day.

A few anglers were out trying their luck today but we have not heard of anyone catching anything.
