• Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island

    Turned out to be a nice day after the rain moved through this morning. We ended up with a high temperature of 77F. Right now we have winds out of the SW at 18mph.

    Sea Mullet was the dominant fish of the day today from Avon to Frisco.

    Avon had some Croaker and Blowtoads caught as well.

    Rodanthe Pier- Sea Mullet, Croakers and puppy Drum

    No offshore report

    Inshore boats headed out and found Red Drum and some Speckled Trout

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island

    Looks like we had a high temperature of 79F today although with the breeze it made it feel comfortable. Winds are continuing out of the SW right now at 21mph. Tomorrow is looking like more of the same conditions.

    Lots of Sea Mullet action on all beaches today with some puppy Drum and Blowtoads mixed in.

    Big Red Drum still present at the point this morning.

    Rodanthe Pier- Sea Mullet, Croaker and Blowtoads.

    The offshore boats remained at the docks today in Hatteras due to the wind.

    Some of the inshore boats ventured out and caught limits of Red Drum and Speckled Trout.

    High temperature of 75F with winds out of the SW right now at 18mph. Looks like we have a little rain moving in tomorrow.

    Avon beaches reported Sea Mullet being caught today

    Red Drum and Sea Mullet off of ramp 44

    No reports from the Frisco beaches today.

    Big Red Drum caught off of ramp 55 in Hatteras early this morning.

    The offshore boats were finally able to get out today and brought back Yellowfin Tuna, Blackfin Tuna, Wahoo, King Mackerel and Dolphin.

    CONGRATS to Sea Creature! He caught and released 2 Sailfish today.

    Inshore boats caught Red Drum and Bluefish.

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island

    Absolutely beautiful day here in Frisco.! We had a high temperature of 64F today with winds out of the South right now at 10mph.

    Very slow day here on the island in regards to surf fishing. Not much reported at the shop.

    Few Bluefish caught off of ramp 55 in Hatteras.

    Saw reports of some fish being caught sound side.

    Offshore boats did not go out today due to windy conditions this morning.

    Inshore boats did well with keeper Red Drum and some citation size as well.

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island

    Was a windy day for everyone on the island. We had a high temperature of 75F this afternoon. Winds are at 23 mph this evening out of the SW.

    Rodanthe Pier- lots of Sea Mullet this morning.

    More big Red Drum at the point today and a few at Hatteras Inlet this morning.

    Other than that it was a quiet day off of the surf.

    Most boats were tied to the docks today due to the wind.
