• Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island

    Not a bad day for weather here in Frisco. A little chilly at times with the wind but we did have a high temperature of 73F and mostly sunny today. Right now we have winds at 22mph out of the SW. Looks like another beautiful day tomorrow as well. Get out there and fish!

    Rodanthe Pier had several puppy Drum caught this morning.

    Sea mullet on the beaches of Avon today.

    More large Red Drum were caught throughout the day at the point.

    Some Sea Mullet and a bunch of small stuff caught here off of ramp 49.

    Offshore boats did alright today with some King Mackerel, few Dolphin, Wahoo, Yellowfin and Blackfin Tuna.

    Sea Creature released a Sailfish

    Bite Me releases some Tunnys.

    Inshore boats caught all sizes of Red Drum and Ribbonfish.

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island

    Hope everyone had a great weekend. The weather today was a bit on the cool side. We had a high temperature of 66F but with the winds it was a bit chilly throughout the day. Winds are out of the NW at 7mph.

    More large Red Drum were caught at the point today.

    Not much to report from the rest of the beaches today.

    Hatteras had some puppy Drum caught earlier today.

    No boats went offshore today due to the winds.

    Couple of boats went inshore today and found big Red Drum.

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island

    Good evening! We had a nice start to the day today with rain showers moving in this afternoon. Our high temperature here in Frisco was 68F. Right now the winds have picked up a bit and are out of the SSW at 27mph. Winds are going to stick around tonight with some rain. Looks like a better day tomorrow.

    Nothing big to talk about from the surf today. Lots of small Sea Mullet caught on all beaches.

    Rodanthe Pier- tons of Sea Mullet were caught today.

    Scrappy day for the offshore boats out of Hatteras. a few Dolphin, Wahoo, Yellowfin and Blackfin Tuna were caught.

    The inshore boats did great with Ribbonfish and Red Drum.

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island

    Happy Friday everyone! Hope you all had a great start to the weekend. The weather here in Frisco was sunny but still cool. Our high temperature was 61F with winds out of the SW right now at 15mph. Rain moving in tomorrow afternoon.

    Avon beaches had Blowtoads and Sea Mullet.

    Still Large Red Drum hanging around at the point this morning.

    Lots of Sea Mullet at ramps 48 and 49 today with some Blowtoads mixed in.

    The offshore boats out of Hatteras got out today and did well with bottom fish. They also brought back some Blackfin Tuna, Yellowfin Tuna, Dolphin, Wahoo and King Mackerel.

    The inshore boats had an outstanding day catching and releasing large Red Drum!

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island

    Sunny but cool day here on the island. We had a high temperature of 57F with winds out of the NW right now at 15mph. Warming up a bit tomorrow, looks like a better day for some fishing.

    Big day for Red Drum at the point. A bunch of citation size were caught and released.

    Blowtoads and Sea Mullet here in Frisco off of ramp 49.

    No reports from the Hatteras beaches.

    No offshore or inshore reports today.
