• Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Very nice day here in Frisco. We had a high temperature of 61F with winds at 19mph out of the SW at this time.

    A few Trout at the jetties today in Buxton. Scattered puppy Drum up and down the beaches. Some large Sea Mullet here off of ramp 49 today as well.

    All around, not a bad day fishing here for January.

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    It was a beautiful day here in Frisco. High temperature for today was 50F with winds out of the SW at 3mph at the time of this post. Looks like another day of the same tomorrow as well.

    Looks like a few puppy Drum were caught off of ramp 43 today.

    We have plenty of shrimp at the shop for bait if you want to get out and give it a try on the surf. We are always stocked up on frozen finger Mullet and squid as well. Open 6am til 9pm every day on the offseason.!

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Not a bad end to the day here in Frisco. Started off rainy and cold but the sun broke through and we ended up with a high temperature of 48F with winds out of the NW at 14mph at this time.

    From what we heard, surf fishing was non-existent today.

    We have a nice warming trend for the end of the week with winds turning and dying down. Looks like an opportune time to try your luck in the surf.

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today started off well with sunny skies and a high temperature of 50F. Rain has moved in this evening and looks like it will stick around most of the day Tuesday. Winds are out of the NW at 15mph.

    Another slow January day for fishing. Only heard of a couple of sharks reeled in today.
