    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Overcast and foggy conditions gave way to a decent day here in Frisco. Our high for today was 61F with winds out of the North at 13mph at the time of this post. Weather should be ok tomorrow to get out and explore before it gets a little nasty on Monday.

    Not much to report today…

    Nice size Blowtoads off of ramp 49 as well as some small Black Drum and Sea Mullet.

    The boats that went out today from Hatteras caught their limits of King Mackerel.

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Great day here to get out and enjoy our island. High temperature for today was 64F here in Frisco! Winds were out of the South at 14mph at the time of this post.

    Puppy Drum and Sea Mullet at the point this morning. Large Red Drum and Black Drum being caught on the North side of the point this evening.

    More Blowtoads and Sea Mullet again today off of ramp 49. Some Flounder were caught off of ramp 55 this morning.

    The boats that did go offshore today out of Hatteras did well with Blackfin Tuna, King Mackerel and had some Dolphin mixed in.

    Inshore boats caught Red Drum and Speckled Trout.

    AVON PIER- no report

    RODANTHE PIER- Black Drum, Sea Mullet, Blowtoads and Bluefish

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    The weather calmed a bit today with winds out of the North at 15mph. We had a high temperature of 54F here in Frisco.

    Lots of Sea Mullet off of ramp 43 today with puppy Drum and Black Drum mixed in. Sharks at the point.

    Large Blowtoads today just South of ramp 49 in Frisco.

    Offshore boats stayed tied to the docks today.

    One inshore boat went out and did well with Red Drum.

    AVON PIER- lots of Sea Mullet caught today.

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Rain turning to sunshine and wind today. Our high temperature was 62F here in Frisco with winds out of the North at 28mph.

    Black Drum, Sea Mullet and Blowtoads caught off the beaches in Avon today.

    The point had a good amount of puppy Drum this morning along with decent size Bluefish.

    Bluefish, scattered puppy Drum and Sea Mullet here in Frisco off of ramp 49.

    No boats went offshore or ventured inshore today due to the weather.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today’s weather started out ok this morning, switching over to rain this afternoon with winds out of the SE at 17mph. Steadier rain and wind moving in Monday morning.

    Avon had Sea Mullet and puppy Drum catches reported today.

    Large Sea Mullet, puppy Drum and Blowtoads off of ramp 43 today.

    Sea Mullet here in Frisco off of ramp 49

    Puppy Drum and lots of Flounder down in Hatteras off of ramp 55.

    The offshore boats out of Hatteras did well again, catching King Mackerel with some Blackfin Tuna mixed in.

    Inshore boats had good luck with puppy Drum.
