• Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Cool, clear day here in Frisco with a high temperature of 52F. We had winds out of the West at 13mph. Get out and fish early Monday as we have strong winds coming in Monday night.

    Reports of Blowtoads off of ramp 44 today.

    Here off of ramp 49 we had Sea Mullet and Black Drum.

    A few boats went offshore today out of Hatteras and they returned with King Mackerel and a few Blackfin Tuna.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today we had a high temperature of 55F here in Frisco with winds out of the NW at 19mph.

    The island was a little quiet for fishing today, some scattered puppy Drum from Salvo to Hatteras.

    Weather should improve Monday for some decent fishing.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Pretty December day here on the island. High temperature for today was 68F with winds out of the South at 20mph. Still some ugly weather headed this way tonight into tomorrow afternoon.

    Sea Mullet caught north of the point. Large Red Drum caught at the point today. We had reports of Black Drum being caught at the jetties today as well.

    Here in Frisco off of ramp 49 we heard Blowtoads and Sea Mullet.

    Good Speckled Trout bite off ramp 55 today.

    Couple of boats headed out today bringing back limits of King Mackerel

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Sunny but cool day here in Frisco with the high temperature only reaching 55F with winds out of the West at 8mph. Waves were calm, beaches were beautiful and some anglers took advantage of the day.

    GALE WARNING for Friday evening through Saturday afternoon with winds at 30 to 40 knots, gusting up to 45 knots.

    Sea Mullet reportedly caught up in Avon.
    Speckled Trout in the surf just North of the motels in Buxton.

    Good puppy Drum bite in Hatteras off of ramp 55.

    Some boats ventured offshore today out of Hatteras and did amazing with King Mackerel. They also put Blackfin Tuna and Wahoo in their coolers for the ride back to the dock.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today we had a high temperature of 48F with winds slightly less than yesterday at 18mph out of the Northwest.

    Lots of action in the surf off of ramp 38. Anglers were catching a mixed bag of Bluefish, Sea Mullet, puppy Drum, Blowtoads, Speckled Trout and Black Drum.

    No report from here in Frisco.

    Ramp 55 in Hatteras was producing a good amount of Blowtoads and Black Drum.
