    Surf: Avon, Buxton, and Hatteras had reports of Bluefish. Buxton and Hatteras reported Spanish Mackerel. Additionally, Hatteras had catches of Sea Mullet.

    Sound: As usual we have heard reports of Bluefish and Red Drum.

    Inshore: Inshore boats had catches of Bluefish, False Albacore, Red Drum, and Spanish Mackerel.

    Offshore: Offshore boats caught Blackfin Tuna, Dolphin, and Wahoo.

    Today was already overcast before the rain moved in. It’s been on and off for hours now. The high was 77 while the low was 73 with light to strong winds. Gusts up to 12mph. Currently it’s 73 with S winds around 16mph. Gusts around 29mph. Tomorrow’s temps will be about the same while winds will die down. Chance of rain in the early morning.

    6/4/25

    Surf: From up and down the beaches we’ve heard of Bluefish, Croaker, Pompano, Sea Mullet, Sharks, and Spot scattered throughout.

    Sound: The sound catches have been the usual Bluefish, Red Drum, and Speckled Trout.

    Inshore: Inshore boats have had steady catches of Bluefish and Spanish Mackerel. A lonely Cobia was also reported.

    Offshore: Blackfin tuna and Dolphin were reported. Releases included a Blue Marlin and Sailfish with a few White Marlin.

    6/5/25

    Surf: The word from the surf is Croaker, Pompano, and Sea Mullet.

    Sound: In the sound we’ve heard of Bluefish and Spanish Mackerel being caught.

    Inshore: No report.

    Offshore: Despite the impending rain, the offshore boats still got out. They returned with catches of Blackfin Tuna, Dolphin, and Skipjack Tuna.

    Another beautiful day. Reports of fish were slow but it was a great day to be on the beach. The high was 79 while the low was 57 with light to gentle winds. Gusts up to 12mph. Currently it’s 66, feels like 65, with ENE winds around 5mph. Tomorrow should be another nice day. Temps and winds are going to be about the same as today’s. The UV isn’t expected to get as high tomorrow but still be mindful that midday is when it’s the highest so wear sun protection or take a break in the shade.

    Surf: We weighed in four citation Pompano that were caught in Hatteras and heard of scattered Sea Mullet and Bluefish. Also heard of a stray cobia caught.

    Sound: The reports have been slow but they’ve included Bluefish, Red Drum, and Spanish Mackerel.

    *Inshore: Inshore catches included Amberjacks, Bluefish, and Spanish Mackerel.

    *Offshore: Offshore boats have reported more Blackfin Tuna and Dolphin. There were also two Blue Marlins released.

    Today was gorgeous. The high was 75 while the low was 66 with light to gentle winds. Gusts up to 25mph. Currently it’s 66, feels like 64, with ENE winds around 6mph.     Surf: At the Bonner Bridge pier Sheepshead have been the best catches. North of Buxton there have been catches of Bluefish, Sea Mullet, and Spanish Mackerel. Buxton catches included Bluefish, Rays, Sharks, and Spanish Mackerel. Frisco reported Blowtoads, Pompano, and Sea Mullet. Hatteras had catches of Sea Mullet.

    Sound: Reports from the sound side are Bluefish and Red Drum.

    Inshore: Inshore boats caught Bluefish and Spanish Mackerel and released some over slot Red Drum.

    Offshore: Offshore out of Hatteras Inlet there were catches of Amberjacks, Blackfin Tuna, Dolphin, Skipjack Tuna, and Wahoo. Releases included two Blue Marlin.
