• Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
    Today we had rain showers in the morning with temperatures in the high 70s. Winds started out at 15 to 20 SSE this morning and calmed down to 10 to 15 out of the SSE this afternoon. Sea surface temps off the Point and south of the point are in the low 70s.
    High tide 12:19 pm    and     Low tide  6:26 am,  6:11 pm
    Ramp 43 had a run of Spanish this morning. Ramp 43 also had a few sea mullet.  The point is closed to fishing
    The Inshore boats had slot Red Drum this afternoon.
    The offshore fleet had citation catches of: Wahoo, Dolphin, Spearfish, and Blackfin. There were also some Yellowfin caught, Trigger Fish, Vermilion Snapper, and Tile Fish.

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
    Today we had sunny skies with temperatures in the high 70s low 80s. Winds picked up to around 10 mph out of the ESE and now are dropping out. Sea surface temps off the Point were in the low 70s.
    High tide 11:21 am, 11:48 pm  and Low tide  5:31 am, 5:12 pm
    Off ramp 43 there was a 2 lb Sea Mullet caught. The point is still closed to fishing
    The Inshore boats had plenty of citation Cobia and Red Drum releases along with Bluefish, and Spanish Mackerel.
    The offshore fleet had catches of: Yellowfin Tuna, Blackfin Tuna, Wahoo, Vermilion Snapper, King Mackerel, citation: Grouper and Wahoo, and Mahi

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
    Today we had sunny skies with temperatures in the high 70s. Winds were light at 8-11 mph ESE. Sea surface temps off the Point were in the low 70s.
    High tide 10:30 am, 10:56 pm  and Low tide  4:41 am, 4:21 pm
    In Avon and Frisco they were catching Sea Mullet. Hatteras had a catch of Pompano.
    The Inshore boats had catches of Cobia and Drum.
    The offshore fleet had catches of: gaffer Mahi, Triggerfish, Vermilion Snapper, Wahoo, Yellow and Black-Fin Tuna.

    Today the temperature for today was 66F. The winds were out of the north-north-west at 8-13 mph . Water temperature off Cape Point is upper 60’s to low 70’s, depending on which side you are on.
    On the Frisco beach there were a Some sea mullet caught today.
    The Inshore boats had catches of bluefish and red drum, keeper and citation size.

    Today we had some cloudy skies, with a little bit of rain. The high temperature for today was 77F. The winds were between 10-20 mph out of the southwest. Water temperature off Cape Point is upper 60’s to low 70’s, depending on which side you are on.
    On the beach there were a few puppy drum caught today.
    The offshore fleet had a catches of dolphin today.
