• Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
    It turned out to be a nice day on Hatteras Island.  We reached a high around 70F today.  The winds were out of the northeast at 9-17 mph, with some higher gusts.
    Bluefish have been the main catch up and down the island.  There have been some over the slot and slot size drum caught at the Point along with the bluefish.  There have been some nice size sea mullet, small pompano, black drum and some keeper flounder.
    There is no inshore report for today, the sound was too rough.
    The offshore boats had catches of wahoo, blackfin tuna and king mackerel.  There was a sailfish boated today.

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
    Today started out with some rain but clearing up by about 9. Temperatures were in the 60s through the day. The winds were from the west at 10-20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph.
    In Buxton Sea mullet and a few puppy drum were reported off the point. 
    The inshore boats did not go out today.
    The offshore boats did not go out today.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
    Today was beautiful we had sunny skies with temperatures in the high 70’s.  The winds were from the west southwest  at  3 – 8 mph with gusts up to 18 mph.
    In Buxton Bluefish and Whiting were reported. In Frisco they are catching Bluefish, and Hatteras beaches  Puppy Drum, Black Drum, Speckled Trout, and Flounder were caught.
    The inshore boats caught  Speckled Trout and Bluefish.
    The offshore boats did not go out today.

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
    Today we had sunny skies with temperatures in the high 60’s.  The winds were from the west northwest  at  1 – 10 mph.
     Around the Buxton beaches Bluefish were reported. In Frisco they are catching Bluefish, and Hatteras beaches Bluefish, Puppy Drum, Black Drum and Flounder were caught.
    The inshore boats caught Flounder, Bluefish, Spanish Mackerel,and small Speckled Trout.
    The offshore boats Blackfin Tuna and King Mackerel.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
    Today was sunny and calm.  The winds were from the north at 6 mph and the temperatures were in the low 60’s.
    Up on the Avon beaches bluefish, sea mullet and blow toads were reported.  Some nice catches of speckled trout were also reported.  Around the Buxton beaches bluefish, puppy drum, spot, sharks and a few big red drum out at Cape Point were caught. Over on the Frisco and Hatteras beaches bluefish, puppy drum and flounder were caught.
    The inshore boats caught keeper puppy drum today in the Pamlico Sound.
    The offshore boats had excellent blackfin tuna catches and some nice wahoo reported.
