Today was a little windier but still sunny and gorgeous. The high was 82 while the low was 77 with light to moderate winds. Gusts up to 29mph. Currently it’s 77, feels like 81, with SW winds around 8mph. Gusts around 17mph. Tomorrow’s temps will be nearly the same. Winds will be similar as well. Rain should start in the early morning.

Ocean water temp: ~78
Surf: Avon – North has seen Bluefish, Croaker, Sea Mullet, and Sharks. Buxton and Frisco have reported Bluefish, Sea Mullet, and Croaker. Frisco has also seen a few Pompano. Hatteras is where most of the Pompano are (and more Sea Mullet). Some Flounder have been caught and released as well.
Sound: Sound side catches have been Bluefish and Red Drum.
Inshore: Inshore boats brought in Bluefish, Cobia, and Red Drum. They also caught and released some Speckled Trout.
Offshore: Yesterday and today the big boats came back to the docks with Blackfin Tuna, Dolphin, Skipjack Tuna, and Wahoo. Releases included several Blue Marlin.
