    The high was 84 while the low was 75 with light to moderate winds. Gusts up to 40mph today. Currently it’s 75, feels like 76, with NNE winds around 10mph. Gusts up to 26mph. Tomorrow’s temps will be cooler while winds will be similar.

    We’re already seeing the effects of Hurricane Lee on the ocean. There’s potential of 2-4 feet of oceanside flooding along with beach erosion and dangerous surf. Anticipate overwash in the usual vulnerable places of NC 12 and side roads and exercise caution if traveling.
