Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today was mostly sunny with light winds. We had north-east winds at 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in the low 50’s.

Fishing was a little slower today. There are still puppy drum being caught at Cape Point with lots of skates and dog sharks. Over on the Frisco beach a few puppy drum reported. Down on the Hatteras beach mostly dog sharks and skates reported.

There is no inshore report for today. The king mackerel fishing has been really good offshore.

Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today was mostly cloudy with light winds. We had north winds at 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in the low 50’s.

We had real good puppy drum fishing around Cape Point today with several caught using shrimp. Plenty of sharks too. Down around the Frisco Pier a few puppy drum were caught this morning.

There is no inshore or offshore charter fishing report for today. The king mackerel fishing has been really good.

Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today was mostly cloudy with a high of 73, winds out of the SSW at 10 to 15 mph.

Fishing continues to be good. Puppy drum and sea mullet were caught behind the motels in Buxton to the jetties. Puppy drum and big biter sharks were caugh at Cape Point.

There is no inshore or offsjore charter fishing report for today.

Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

Today we had a high of 71F with a mix of sun and clouds, with light SW winds.

On the Buxton beaches were some flounder, puppy drum and a few speckled trout. The bite was good at Cape Point. Susan Samsock from Maryland sent us a picture of her catch. Nice fish Susan!

There is no inshore or offshore charter fishing report for today.
