Today the weather was mostly cloudy with periods of sunshine.  The rain stayed offshore all day until just after dark.  The winds were from the east at 10-20 mph and the temperatures were in the low 70’s.

Fishing today was pretty good, but the current picked up.  There were sea mullet, bluefish, blow toads and a few black drum caught around the Frisco pier and over ramp 49.  Down on the Hatteras beach just a few blow toads and sea mullet.

No boats fishing inshore today.  The few boats that fished offshore today were faced with rough seas, rain and gusty winds which made for a short day.  For the short time they fished the yellowfin tunas were biting along with a few dolphin and wahoo.  One small mako shark was released.

Today the weather was nice in the morning but rain showers pushed through by noon.  We had south-west winds 10-20 mph and the temperatures were in the upper 60’s.

Fishing today was pretty good.  Over on the Frisco beach we had sea mullet, blow toads and a 5 lb black drum.  One 50.5 in red drum was also caught over by the air strip.  A smaller red drum was reported earlier in the day.  It looks like we might have some good drum fishing here in Frisco for the next few days.   Down on the Hatteras beach the blow toads and sea mullet fishing was pretty good.  The big drum angler says he will email us some footage of the drum.  If he does I will sure post it.

No boats fished inshore or offshore today that I am aware of..
