Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

We had overcast skies today with some periods of fog.  The winds were from the north-east at 5-15 mph and the temperatures were in the upper 60’s.

Today was pretty slow.  So slow that I have no report of anyone catching any fish from the surf.

A few boats did fish inshore on the Pamlico Sound and they caught a few puppy drum and speckled trout.  A lot slower than the past few days.

We had a hot day today, at least for January with sunny skies.  The winds were from the south-west at 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in the low 70’s.

Fishing today was decent.  Good catches of puppy drum over on the Frisco and Hatteras beaches.
