• Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today we had mostly sunny skies with some very light rain in the early afternoon. .  The winds were from the south-west at 10-15 mph and the temperatures were in the mid 80’s  

    On the Buxton beach today catches of sea mullet and pompano reported.  The Frisco beach had sea mullet, pompano and bluefish caught.   The Hatteras beach had sea mullet, bluefish, pompano and the big drum have made another showing at the Inlet..

    The inshore boats caught puppy drum, bluefish and speckled trout.    The offshore boats had excellent wahoo fishing, a few dolphin and blackfin tuna..  A few sailfish were released today.

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today was mostly sunny.  The winds were from the south-west at 10-20 mph and the temperatures were in the mid 80’s.  

    On the Buxton beach today catches of sea mullet and bluefish reported.  On the Frisco beach sea mullet and bluefish were caught.   The Hatteras beach had a few sea mullet, spot, bluefish, spot and croaker.

    We have reports of puppy drum from the boats that fished inshore today.  The offshore boats had a few dolphin, blackfin tuna and wahoo..

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today was sunny and nice. The winds were from the south-west at 10-20 mph and the temperatures were in the upper 80’s.  

    On the Buxton beach today catches of sea mullet, some bluefish and puppy drum reported.  On the Frisco beach sea mullet and puppy drum were caught.   The Hatteras beach had a few sea mullet, spot, bluefish and croaker.

    We have no reports from the few boats that fished inshore today.  The offshore boats had a rough day with only a few dolphin, blackfin tuna and king mackerel..

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today was another nice day. The winds were from the south-west at 10-20 mph and the temperatures were in the upper 80’s.  

    On the Buxton beach today there were catches of sea mullet, spot, some bluefish and puppy drum reported.  Out on the Frisco beach only some sea mullet were caught.   The Hatteras beach had a few sea mullet, spot, croaker and pompano again today.

    The inshore boats had another good day of puppy drum and speckled trout in the Pamlico Sound today.  The offshore fishing today had king mackerel showing up   Some good catches of dolphin and wahoo were also reported.   There were 2 sailfish released.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today was nice. The winds were from the south at 5-10 mph and the temperatures were around 90 degrees.  

    On the Buxton beach today there were good sea mullet catches reported.  Out on the Frisco beach some sea mullet and pompano were caught.   The Hatteras beach had a few sea mullet, spot, croaker and pompano today.

    The inshore boats caught puppy drum and speckled trout in the Pamlico Sound today.  The big spanish mackerel showed up today along with some bluefish up along the beaches.  The offshore fishing was decent today.  Some good catches of dolphin and wahoo were reported.   There were 5 sailfish and one blue marlin released.  The Picture below is a good shot of a sailfish  released aboard the “Godspeed” charter boat.
