    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today we had rainy weather in the morning and sunny skies most of the afternoon.  The winds were from the south-west at 10-20 mph and the temperatures were in the upper 70’s

    On the Buxton beaches there were sea mullet and speckled trout reported.  On the Frisco beaches there were sea mullet and bluefish reported.   The Hatteras beaches down at the inlet had big drum and puppy drum caught today.

    The inshore boats caught big drum today.

    .No boats fished offshore today due to the weather.

  • Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today we had sunny skies and gusty winds.  The winds were from the south-west at 15-25 mph with gusts to 35 mph and the temperatures were in the upper 80’s

    On the Buxton beaches there were reports of sea mullet and puppy drum.  On the Frisco beaches there were black drum, puppy drum, sea mullet, bluefish, flounder and croakers caught. Down on the Hatteras beach sea mullet and puppy drum were reported.

    No reports from the inshore boats out today .

    No boats fished offshore today due to the weather.

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today we had rainy weather all day.  The winds were from the south-west at 15-25 mph and the temperatures were in the mid 80’s

    On the Buxton beaches there were no reports.  On the Frisco beaches there were black drum and puppy drum reported.   No reports from the Hatteras beach..

    Only one inshore boat out today inshore.  The ‘Hang On” caught a 71 lb cobia pictured below.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today we had mostly sunny skies.  The winds were from the south-west at 10-20 mph and the temperatures were in the mid 80’s

    On the Buxton beaches the reports were a few puppy drum and black drum caught.  On the Frisco beaches there were black drum, puppy drum and some sea mullet reported.   Down on the Hatteras beaches bluefish, a few puppy drum and black drum were caught.

    The inshore boats had good cobia catches in the Pamlico Sound.  The spanish mackerel fishing was good along the beaches today.

    The offshore fleet had a rough and windy day with a few dolphin, blackfin and yellowfin tuna.

  • Hatteras Island Fishing Report

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

    Today we had more sunny skies.  The winds were from the south-west at 10-20 mph and the temperatures were in the mid 80’s

    On the Buxton beaches the reports were the same as yesterday, a few puppy drum and sea mullet caught.  On the Frisco beaches there were black drum, puppy drum and some sea mullet.   Down on the Hatteras beaches flounder, bluefish, a few puppy drum and pompano were caught.

    The inshore boats had good speckled trout and puppy drum.  A few bluefish and cobias are still being caught.

    The offshore fleet had decent catches of dolphin, a few blackfin tuna and wahoo.
