• Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island:

The Weather in Frisco was partly sunny with rain showers off and on.  Some severe weather was reported during the day as storms pass by.  We had north-east winds 5-10 mph with higher gust during the storms.  The temperatures were in the upper 80’s.  The  fishing at Cape Point was good today with bluefish and spanish mackerel being caught on casting lures.  There were plenty of sharks.  The bluefish bite was real good on the Frisco and Hatteras beaches with some spanish mackerel around Hatteras.  No boats fishing inshore due to all the severe weather passing through.  The offshore boats had a slow day.   Scattered dolphin and wahoo caught.  Some nice grouper were brought up from the bottom.
