Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

We had a warmer day today with sunny skies.  The winds were from the south-west at 5 mph and the temperatures were in the upper 60’s.

Fishing today was really good too.  Good catches of puppy drum on the Buxton beaches and around Cape Point with a few sharks caught as well.   Over on the Frisco and Hatteras beaches puppy drum, a few flounder and bluefish were caught.

The inshore fishing in the Pamlico sound today was pretty good, some puppy drum and speckled trout were caught.  One boat fished offshore today and caught lots of king mackerel and a good catch of blackfin tuna.  Below is a citation king mackerel aboard the charter boat “Godspeed” today.

We had a warm day today with misty conditions.  The winds were from the west at 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in the low 60’s.

Fishing today was really good with lots of  puppy drum on the Buxton beach and near Hatteras Inlet.  A few sharks and skates reported today.

The inshore fishing in the Pamlico sound today was really good too.  Several puppy drum were caught and some decent speckled and gray trout as well as some flounder.

We had a beautiful day today.  The winds were from the south at 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in the mid 60’s.

Fishing today was decent today with some puppy drum and a few flounder caught on the Buxton beach.  No sharks or skates reported today.

The inshore fishing in the Pamlico sound today was awesome.  Several puppy drum were caught, as many as 100 on some boats and some decent speckled trout caught as well.

We had clear skies today.  The winds were from the north at 5-15 mph and the temperatures were in the mid 50’s.

Fishing was better today with some puppy drum and black drum caught around Frisco Pier.  One customer said he caught them there yesterday too.  A few puppy drum were also caught around the Buxton beaches.  Still some sharks being caught on most of the beaches from Avon to Hatteras.

No boats fished inshore or offshore.

Fishing was slow today with some dog sharks being caught on most of the beaches from Avon to Hatteras.

The puppy drum fishing was excellent today in the Pamlico Sound.  No boats fished offshore.
