Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island:

Today was nice and sunny.  We had light north-east winds 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in the upper 50’s.  For as nice of a day that it was the only fish that we have heard of from the surf were some puppy drum down on Ocracoke.  The Offshore yellowfin tuna fishing was excellent once again today with limits.  The bluefins were harder to hook but were plentiful.  Below is a bluefin tuna caught aboard the “Bite Me” on a top water plug.

Today was partly sunny and cooler.  We had north-east winds 10-20 mph and the temperatures were in the upper 40’s.  Considering the windy weather we had some pretty good fishing today.  Out at Cape Point there were some puppy drum and sharks caught.  Down on the Frisco beach they caught plenty of blow toads this morning.  No boats fished offshore today.  There are quite a few boats fishing tomorrow.

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island:

This morning was nice and sunny.  The day started out sunny and warm with south-west winds 10-15 mph and the temperatures were in the low 60’s.  Early in the afternoon the wind switched to the north-east at 15-20 mph and some rain showers passed through and the temperatures dropped to the upper 40’s.  The blow toad bite was real good on the Frisco beach this morning.  The south end of Ocracoke is still producing some big drum and puppy drum.  It will not be long until they make it up this way.  No boats fished offshore today.

Today was mostly sunny with a midday shower.  We had south-west winds 10-15 mph and the temperatures were in the upper 60’s.   A customer told us today that yesterday they caught a nice mess of bluefish around the Frisco Pier.  Today the blow toads and bluefish showed up there.  The big drum are back on the southern Ocracoke beaches.  There were also some puppy drum caught down that way.  Offshore fishing was excellent with limits of yellowfin tuna and plenty of bluefin tuna.  All of the fish in the picture were caught on top water plugs.  You talk about some fun fishing, 200 lb fish busting on top just behind the boat.  Below is a nice catch of yellowfin tuna and a bluefin tuna from the “Bite Me” charter boat.

Today was quite nice.  We had sunny skies and south-east winds 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in the upper 60’s.  We have had a few folks in today buying bait and giving it a try, but as of right now all I have heard were some sharks down off of Hattreras and Ocracoke.  The offshore yellowfin tuna fishing was excellent today with limits.  A few bluefin tuna of a smaller class and a few dolphin were caught.
