    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island:

    Today was nice and sunny.  The winds were light out of the north-east at 10 mph and the temperatures were in the mid 50’s.  Down on the Buxton beaches there were a few speckled trout caught.  A t Cape Point there still plenty of sharks and skates being caught.  Down the south beaches in Frisco and Hatteras there have been a good amount of blow toads around.  Offshore fishing today was a little slower but the seas were calm.  A few wahoo, king mackerel and some black fin tuna were reported.

  • Outer Banks Fishing Report 12-1

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island:

    December is here and Christmas is right around the corner.  We have great gifts for every sportsman or sportswomen.  Today was mostly sunny and cool.  The winds were from the north at 15 mph and the temperatures were around 50 degrees F.  Fishing seemed to be a little better today.  Cape Point and more sharks and skates with a few bluefish mixed in.  On the Frisco Beach we had good catches of blow toads, sea mullet and a few bluefish.  Down at Hatteras Inlet a few blow toads and sea mullet were reported.  No boats out again today due to the rough conditions.

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island:

    Today was sunny but much cooler.  We had west winds at 15 mph and the temperatures were around 50 degrees F.  Tonight and tomorrow morning the winds are supposed to switch to the north-west and the temperatures are supposed to drop to around 40 degrees F.  Fishing today was a little slow, although one big drum was caught out at Cape Point along with plenty of sharks and skates.  The Frisco and Hatteras beaches are getting scattered blow toads and sea mullet.  There are a few speckled trout being caught at the Frisco Pier and Buxton jetties.  No boats out again today due to the rough conditions.

  • Outer Banks Fishing Report 11-29

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island:

    Today was rainy and windy.  The winds were from the south-east at 15-20 mph and the temperatures were in the low 60’s.  This afternoon the winds switched to the south-west at 15-20 mph and the temperatures dropped to the low 50’s.  Tonight is supposed to be in the low 40’s.  Well reports of big drum at Cape Point today is the hot news.  Around 10 or so were landed.  They had some sharks and skates there too.  Down on the Frisco Beach there are still a nice mix of blow toads and sea mullet being caught.  A few speckled trout are still being caught around the Frisco Pier.  No boats fishing today.

    Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island:

    Today the weather was still warm but the rain was here most of the day.  We had south-east winds at 15 mph, with temperatures in the low 60’s  it’s supposed to switch to the south-west and pick up to 15-20 mph tonight. Out at Cape Point there are sharks and skates being caught with a few bluefish mixed in.  On the Frisco and Hatteras beaches the blow toads and sea mullet have been scattered.  No boats fished today.
