Mostly sunny today.  We had north-east winds 10-15 mph and temperatures in the upper 70’s.  There are still bluefish being caught at Cape Point in Buxton along with some puppy drum.  The Frisco beach had some sea mullet and bluefish.  Not much to report from the boats inshore or offshore.  It has been slow for customers but the fishing has been good in the Pamlico Sound and offshore when boats have been going out.

Today was mostly cloudy with periods of rain.   The sun came out for just a bit.  Today we had north-east winds 10-20 mph and temperatures in the low 70’s.  The ocean calmed down alot today and more people were able to fish. There were some bluefish at the Buxton point and Hatteras inlet today. The wind is supposed to die out by mid-week and will hopefully bring better fishing conditions.

Well the wind and rain is still here on Hatteras Island.  We had north-east winds 20-30 mph and temperatures in the mid 70’s.  Our first sign of visitors have arrived.  They had to brave the long drive, then the long ferry ride in rough waters of the Pamlico Sound.  Everyone we talked too were happy to be here and we are sure happy to see them.  One guy I talked too said he would be happy with 3 days of good weather to go fishing.  I think he might get that, maybe 4 days.  It was way too rough for any type of fishing, so there is no report.  Check us out at friscorodandgun.com for online shopping and all of your fishing needs.
