Well it rained all day.  The winds were light out of the south at 10 mph and temperatures were in the mid 70’s.  A few people fished Cape Point and caught some drum over the slot limit of 27″.   That’s about all I know from the beach.  No Inshore boats fished today.  The Offshore fleet had two boats out today. It rained on them the whole time but they caught fish.  A few nice size dolphin and wahoo, some yellowfin and excellent blackfin tuna.  There were 2 sailfish released by the “Godspeed”.

Today was mostly cloudy with intermittent rain showers throughout the day. A light south-east wind kept the temperatures relatively cool in the mid 70’s. Fishing at Cape Point continues to be pretty good with blue fish and spanish mackerel still hitting. Over on the Frisco beach, we had another good day of blue fish, puppy drum, sea mullet and flounder. Finger mullet and shrimp are still the bait of choice. Down at Hatteras inlet, there were blue fish and puppy drum being caught. Inshore fishing saw excellent speckled trout fishing and a few puppy drum mixed in. Offshore fishing was a little slower today. Of the few boats that fished, scattered wahoo, dolphin, yellowfin and blackfin tuna were caught.
