Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
Today we had sunny skies and warm temperatures. The winds were from the south-west at 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in the low 80’s.
Avon Pier and beach had reports of sea mullet, spot, bluefish and spanish mackerel. On the Buxton beach and out at Cape Point a few bluefish, sea mullet and sharks were reported. The Frisco beach had some nice pompano and sea mullet. One pompano was 3 lbs caught by Jim Price from Frisco. Down in the Hatteras beach sea mullet, puppy drum and bluefish were reported.
The inshore boats caught lots of spanish mackerel and bluefish and several cobia were caught in and around Hatteras Inlet. Bluefish, puppy drum and a few flounder were caught in the Pamlico sound today.
The offshore boats had good dolphin catches, a few wahoo and king mackerel and decent black fin tuna fishing. Some white marlin and a few blue marlin were released.
