Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island:
The weather in Frisco today was sunny and warm with light wind. We had west south-west winds 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in mid 80’s. The only report from the surf today were some nice cobias caught over ramp 43 in Buxton. The inshore boats had real good big red drum fishing. Several release citations were caught. A few cobias were also caught from the inshore fleet. The offshore gaffer dolphin fishing was excellent after tropical storm Beryl passed by. There were a few wahoo and blackfin tuna caught too. Two blue marlin caught today. One came back to the dock. A 420 lb blue marlin aboard the “Hatteras Fever II” Picture below:

The Black Bart Blue Breakfast is a favorite for marlin fisherman here in Hatteras NC. This lure creates a huge smoke trail with the two jets cut into the head and dives and swims deep. The Big Rock Blue Marlin tournament starts June 8 and ends June 16. The fishing days are June 11-16. The Blue Marlin action has been hot. It should make for a exciting tournament.

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island:
Today the weather in Frisco was very windy with lots of rain. We had tropical storm Beryl pass directly over us this afternoon. The winds were from the south-east all morning, switching to the north-west after 6 pm at 20-35 mph with some gust around 50 mph between 1pm and 7 pm. We had heavy rain most of the day. By late afternoon it was just wind. Needless to say no fish were caught, but one camper told me that he saw some guys give it a try over on the Frisco beach. Tomorrow the weather will be back to normal with west winds at 10-15 mph going around to the south by night fall.
