Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.
Today was sunny and calm. The winds were from the north at 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in the low 50’s.
We had another decent day of beach fishing Out around Cape Point there were some more puppy drum being caught as well as more dog sharks. Reports from the Frisco beach have the blow toads still chewing with some nice sea mullet mixed in. On the Hatteras beaches the blow toads and sea mullet catches were as good as yesterday.
No boats fishing inshore. Offshore fishing today was really good with more big bluefin tuna, a few yellowfin tuna and blackfin tuna. The bottom fishing was really good too. Snowy groupers, golden and gray tilefish and some rose fish. Below is a really nice and big 60 lb snowy grouper caught aboard the “Godspeed” charter boat.
