Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island.

It was overcast with light rain today.  The winds were from the north-east switching to the south-east at 10-20 mph with the temperatures in the upper 50’s.

Over on the Hatteras beach that little shot of warmer water has produced more good blow toad, sea mullet and bluefish fishing today.  Still dog sharks and skates being caught on most beaches.

No boats fishing inshore today.  A few boats out in the gulfstream today and the bluefin tunas are still there in good numbers.  Six bluefin tunas were caught and two brought back to the dock both weighing 200 lbs.  The picture below is the “Good Times” charter boat with one of their four bluefin tuna caught today.
