Here is Frisco Rod and Gun’s Outer Banks fishing report for Hatteras Island: Today was a great day to be an American. The weather was hot and sunny with lots of wind. We had south-west winds 15-25 mph and the temperatures were in the upper 80’s. Beach fishing was slow most of the day. Down on the Buxton beach there were a few sea mullet, blues and spots caught. Here on the Frisco beach only some sea mullet reported. On the sound side in Hatteras there were several flounder caught. Most of them were under size. Inshore the flounder and bluefish bite was really good. No boats made it offshore today because of the rough conditions. Happy 4th of July to all of our customers and Thank You for your continued support over the years.
