Outer Banks Fishing Report 10-18

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island:

The sun was shining and fish were being caught.  We had a south-east wind at 10-15 mph and temperatures were in the mid 70’s.  Cape Point had some really good drum fishing this morning and around 12 noon.  Most fish were in the 30-40 inch range.  They had bluefish and a few sea mullet.  The Frisco beach had some bluefish and scattered sea mullet and pompano.  Down around Hatteras Inlet lots of bluefish and some puppy drum along the sound side were caught.  The inshore boats had a few speckled trout and puppy drum.  The offshore boats had a slower day.  Some dolphin were caught, bailers and a few gaffer size and scattered catches of yellowfin tuna and wahoo.
