Outer Banks Fishing Report 10-24

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island:

Today was partly cloudy most of  the day with periods of sun.  The winds were from the north-west at 15 mph and the temperatures were in the low 70’s.  Cape Point big drum fishing is hot right now.  Late last night all the 30-50 inch drum you wanted were caught and tonight, although a little slower still over 30 big drum have been caught.   Some bluefish and sea mullet of citation size were caught.  The Frisco beach and Hatteras beaches had some nice sea mullet of citation size and a few bluefish.  The inshore boats had a really good drum bite.  Most drum were over the 27″ slot limit.  Offshore fishing today was good.  Lots of wahoo being caught and  few more yellowfin tuna.
