Outer Banks Fishing Report 11-14

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island:

Today was beautiful with sunny skies and light winds.  The winds were from the south-west at 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in  the mid 60’s.  On the Buxton beach today there were a few sea mullet, black drum and some speckled trout.  The Frisco beach had some bluefish, black drum and a few flounder.  No reports from the Hatteras Beach.  Offshore fishing today was once again really good.  Nice citation wahoo’s caught in the 40 to 81 lbs class.  Excellent king mackerel and a few dolphin and yellowfin tuna were caught.

The Berkley Gulp Swimming Mullet is an excellent choice for catching speckled trout or puppy drum in the surf.  Flounder like the white swimming mullet the best.
