Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island:

This morning was overcast.  By mid morning the sun came out and the winds were from the west at 10 mph. The temperatures were in the low 70’s.  No big drum caught last night.  They must have been out of casting range.  The blow toads and sea mullets were biting pretty good from Cape Point to Hatteras.  The Point seemed to be a little better.  The blackfin tuna fishing was excellent again today.  A larger class of blackins were caught, up to 30 lbs. Some gaffer dolphin and a few wahoo.  One wahoo was a citation 40 lbs.

The C&H Rattle Jet  is a highly productive lure when used plain or combined with natural bait. The bubble and rattle action drives fish to strike.  This is a great quick and ready to fish lure for the dolphin that are being caught now.
