Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island:
Today the weather in Frisco was great. We had west south-west winds 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in the low 80’s. The Buxton beaches had some bluefish and a few pompano. Down on the Frisco beach there have been a few sea mullet and pompano. The Hatteras beaches reported some bluefish and sea mullet and this morning the spanish bite was pretty good down near Hatteras Inlet. The inshore boats had excellent catches of spanish mackerel and bluefish. In the Pamlico Sound the gray and speckled trout bite was pretty good. The offshore action was a little slow today. A handful of dolphin and a few wahoo, the biggest wahoo was a citation size 51 lbs. The “Sea Creature” released two blue marlin and the “Native Son” released two white marlin. The 54th Annual Big Rock Blue Marlin Tournament fishing starts tomorrow. We look forward to an exciting tournament and wish all the boats good luck and stay safe.

The Bonze UV Ice Series Spellbound is the little brother of the Inferno and is a great short bait. The head really lights up in the water with the UV technology in the resin. There will be a lot of these lures being pulled during The Big Rock. The Bonze owner is here all the way from New Zealand fishing the tournament with one the Hatteras boats.
