Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island:

The Weather in Frisco was sunny and warm.  We had south-west winds 5-10 mph and the temperatures were in the upper 80’s.  Around the Buxton beaches some sea mullet and croakers were caught.  The Frisco beach was slower with only some sea mullet.  The Hatteras beach was pretty slow too, but Roy Kiser of Salem, VA caught the only bite he had today over ramp 55.  A 3 lb 8 oz citation pompano which is pictured below.  The inshore boats caught spanish mackerel and bluefish. Some nice speckled and gray trout were caught along with some citation red drum.  The offshore fishing was excellent today.  All the dolphin you wanted and the bill fishing was awesome.  7 blue marlin,  23 white marlin and 4 sail fish were released from the Hatteras fleet.
