Hatteras Island Fishing Report

Here is the Frisco Rod and Gun Outer Banks Fishing Report for Hatteras Island:

The Weather in Frisco was sunny, hot and humid.  We had south winds 10-15 mph and the temperatures were in the upper 80’s.  The Frisco and Hatteras beaches were the most productive today.  Fisherman caught sea mullet and pompano. Some citation sea mullet were caught on the Frisco beach.  The picture below is a 1 lb 11 oz citation sea mullet caught by William Taylor on the Frisco Beach today.  The inshore boats caught lots of spanish mackerel and bluefish.  In the Pamlico Sound good catches of speckled trout and a few big drum and a cobia were caught.  The offshore boats had good dolphin fishing with a few wahoo and blackfin tuna.  Several sailfish and a blue marlin were released today.
